Instructions to Sell Old Version Software
Note: We do not give quotes over the telephone, please follow the instructions below.
Step 1: Does your software meet the following two conditions?
- Is your software factory sealed in the the retailpackaging?
- Does the software publisher appear on the following list?
**If the answer is no to either of these two questions, we will not be interested.

Step 2: Is your software retail version?
- Retail Version software = Not Academic/Education software, OEM software, Not for Resale/Retailsoftware or any other non-retail software. In most cases, there is someindication on the packaging if it is one of the non-retail types ofsoftware listed.
Step 3: Request a quote.
In order to provide a quote, we need the part numbers of your software. A quote can not be provided without this information. Send a requestemail to softwarequotes@retrosoftware.net with the following information: Quantity, Title, Condition, and Part Number. Example:
(1) Microsoft Visio 2010 Professional New/Sealed Part Number D87-04973
If youhave more than 5 titles please request a Microsoft Excelspreadsheet template by sending an email to softwarequotes@retrosoftware.net. You will need Microsoft Excel installed on your computer to use this template.
Once we receive yourlist we will ask for clarifications if need be and then supply a quote.We will email the quote to the email address provided. If the offer youreceive is acceptable to you, the items can then be sent to us via the U.S. mail. We strongly suggest both insurance and tracking for yourshipment. We will reimburse you for the shipping cost up to PriorityMail level. If you choose to use express mail or an overnight shipping option, we will not reimburse the cost of shipping.
When we receive yourshipment you will be notified by email and the software will be checkedfor completeness. If everything is in order you will then be paid eitherthrough PayPal (preferred method) or sent a check. You will choose yourpayment option on the release form (included with quote). If everythingis not in order, you may receive a revised quote or your software willbe returned at your expense. Normally, this transaction takesapproximately seven to ten business days so please be patient. Inadvance, thank you for your participation in our program!
